What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or browser identifiers used to remember settings, keep accounts secure, operate checkout and understand how the website is used.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are needed for the website to work. They support account sign-in, security, checkout, billing, saving your cookie choice and delivering the bedtime story service. These cannot be switched off through our cookie banner because the service depends on them.
Optional marketing cookies
With your permission, we use Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure whether Facebook and Instagram ads lead to website visits, trial starts and subscriptions. This may use browser identifiers, page and checkout activity, IP address, user agent and hashed account identifiers.
We do not send child profile details, story requests or generated stories to Meta. If you reject optional marketing cookies, the website still works and we will not load Meta Pixel in your browser.
Payments and third-party pages
Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its hosted checkout and billing portal pages. These are needed to process payments, manage fraud checks and let customers manage subscriptions. Stripe's own privacy and cookie information applies when you are on Stripe-hosted pages.
Changing your choice
You can change your optional marketing cookie choice at any time by selecting Cookie choices in the website footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some essential parts of the service may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked.
