About these terms

These terms govern your use of Hollie's Bedtime Stories. The service provides AI-assisted personalised bedtime stories for children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and parental responsibility

You must be at least 18 and have authority to provide the child profile information you submit. Children must not create or operate accounts. You are responsible for keeping your login secure, reviewing each story before sharing it, and deciding whether it is suitable for your family.

Subscriptions and payment

The price, included child profiles, trial period and renewal frequency are shown before checkout. Eligible plans include a 5-day free trial and then renew monthly until cancelled. Stripe processes payments; we do not store full card details. You can cancel through the billing portal, and cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. AI-generated stories and illustrations

Stories and illustrations are generated with artificial intelligence and may occasionally contain errors, unexpected details or similarities to other generated material. We use prompts and safeguards designed for calm, age-appropriate content, but we cannot guarantee every output will be error-free or suitable for every child.

Emotional, confidence, friendship or worry-related themes are for comfort and entertainment only. They are not medical, mental health, educational or other professional advice.

Permitted use

You may use generated stories and illustrations for personal, non-commercial family use. You must not use the service to request or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, adult or otherwise harmful material; interfere with the service; attempt unauthorised access; or resell the service or its outputs. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide nightly stories reliably, but generation, email delivery and third-party services can occasionally be delayed or unavailable. We may update the service or these terms. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.

Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, or for business losses arising from personal use of the service. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
